Notes on buying the textbook for Econ 154a

Fall 2008

We will be using Greg Mankiw’s Macroeconomics, 6^th edition. I assume that it will sell at the Yale Bookstore at the publisher’s list price of $147.

To save money, here are some options. Do not buy the 5^th edition, however, or you will find yourself in trouble following the material. But:

- You might also try to get it packaged with the Study Guide.

- New copies on the web for $75 plus shipping (limited quantities)

- Used copies for around $40 plus shipping.
